Santa Claus is coming to town! Here is a listing of Santa Claus parades in Vaughan and the GTA.

Santa Fest in Maple

The mission of Santafest is to promote community spirit, civil pride and foster partnership between businesses and the community in the celebration of the Christmas Holiday Season.  Last year's parade had over 1,500 participants and over 30,000 spectators!

Date: Sunday, November 23

Time:  Parade begins at 2pm

Parade route: The parade runs from Major Mackenzie & Jane to the Vaughan Civic Centre (Major Mackenzie & Keele)


The 110th Annual Toronto Santa Claus Parade

With more than 25 animated floats and more than 200 Celebrity Clowns to lead the Parade, Toronto's Santa Claus Parade is the longest running children's Parade in the world!  

Also happening on Parade Day – the 2nd annual Holly Jolly 5k Fun Run! Register early to be one of 2,000 participants running along the parade route!

Date: Sunday, November 16

Time: Parade begins at 12:30pm

Parade route: The parade starts at Bathurst & Bloor (at Christie Pits), goes along Bloor to Avenue Road, then heads south on Avenue Rd/University Ave to Wellington. It then goes east along Wellington to Front St & Jarvis (St. Lawrence Market) (click here for route map)


Richmond Hill Santa Claus Parade

Join in the excitement of the Santa Claus Parade, as it brings the holiday spirit to life each year! The parade features approximately 80 brightly decorated floats from the community, marching bands, colourful costumes and of course, Santa & Mrs. Claus! Bring along some non-perishable food for the food bank – volunteers will be collecting it along the parade route.

Date: Sunday, November 23

Time: Parade begins at 1:30pm

Parade route: The parade begins at the intersection of Yonge St. & Industrial Road and ends at the corner of Yonge St. & Hopkins St. (click here for route map)


Main Street Markham Santa Claus Parade

This year's theme…Viva Christmas, fun for everyone!  You'll see approximately 100 colourful floats and marching bands leading the way for Santa Claus!

Date: Saturday, November 29

Time: Parade begins at 11am

Parade route: The parade starts at Hwy 7 East and Main Street Markham (Hwy 48) and travels north along Main Street Markham to Markham Museum. (click here for route map)


Brampton Board of Trade Santa Claus Parade

Come and see the parade 'under the stars'! This parade is the largest single day event in the Region of Peel and the largest night parade in Canada.  It was also voted the top Community Parade in Canada by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.

Date: Saturday, November 15

Time: Parade begins at 5pm

Parade route: The parade starts at the corner of Main Street North and Sproule Drive. It takes the front of the parade approximately 1.5 hours to make their way along Main Street North to it's conclusion at Elgin Drive. (click here for route map)


Mississauga Santa Claus Parade

Approximately 50,000 people come out to check out the floats, marching bands, costumes and Santa Claus!

Date: Sunday, November 30

Time: Parade begins at 1pm

Parade route: The parade starts at Queen Street and Britannia Road in Streetsville and goes south on Queen Street ending at Old Station Road (click here for route map)
