Here are 5 spots around Vaughan where you can pick your own apples and enjoy some fall family fun.

Apple picking season usually starts at the beginning of September – check out each's farms website to find out which apples they currently have for picking, dates/times and prices.

Country Apple Orchard Farm

Country Apple Orchard farm is a family owned and operated business, that has been producing apples for 27 years.  They can provide environmentally friendly apple bags for an additional charge, and have pre-picked apple bags that you may purchase at the apple barn. (You can also purchase freshly baked apple pies, fresh sweet pasteurized 100% apple cider, local unpasteurized honey, pumpkins and other local farm fresh seasonal produce).  Apple season starts August 30th!

Pine Farms Orchard

Pick your own apples in the kid friendly orchard with pint size trees for easy picking.  Apples, cider and honey from the farm available year round.  They have a country cafe, bake shop & gift shop, plus educational tours are offered.

Applewood Farm Winery

Applewood Farm has been a great spot to pick your own apples for over thirty years.  They offer wagon rides to and from the picking, a children's playground, straw bale mountain and room for the whole family to run. They also have a winery with a delicious selection of fruit wine, available to tasting at their tasting bar.

Organics Farm

This small family owned and operated farm offers certified organic products for sale at their market and bakery.  Apple picking season begins August 29th!

Brooks Farms

In addition to being able to pick your own apples (beginning mid-September), come out and enjoy their Fall Fun Festival. The festival runs on weekends beginning September 6th and features lots of activities for kids, pumpkin cannons, farm animals, corn mazes, and much more!  And, pick up some fresh produce at their market or some yummy treats at their bakery.
