Halloween is coming soon! Here are our favourite spots near Vaughan to pick out your pumpkin!

Whittamore's Farm

This family owned farm is our family's favourite spot for pumpkins!  Pumpkinland has tons of activities for kids including a corn maze, a wagon ride through the Spooky Forest, a two-storey Tree Fort to climb, a tractor track and lots more!  And make sure you stay for the Pumpkin Cannon show and watch Farmer Frank shoots pumpkins amazing distances.  A great selection of pumpkins to choose from.

Hours:  Open daily from September 15 – Halloween from 10am – 5pm (last entry at 4pm)

Admission:  $12 per person (2 years and older) on weekends ($8 on weekdays)

Brooks Farms

In addition to being able to pick your own pumpkins, come out and enjoy their Fall Fun Festival. The festival runs on weekends beginning September 6th and features lots of activities for kids, pumpkin cannons, farm animals, corn mazes, and much more!  And, pick up some fresh produce at their market or some yummy treats at their bakery.

Hours: Weekdays 9am – 6pm, Weekends 9am – 5pm (last entry 4pm)

Admission: $12.50 per person (2 years and older)

Applewood Farm Winery

Applewood Farm has been a great spot to pick your own pumpkins for over thirty years.  They offer wagon rides to and from the picking, a children's playground, straw bale mountain and room for the whole family to run. They also have a winery with a delicious selection of fruit wine, available to tasting at their tasting bar. 

Hours: (starting Sept 3rd) Wednesday-Friday 12pm – 5pm, Weekends 9am – 5pm

Admission: $7.50 per person (3 years and older)

Reesor Farm

At Reesor Farm, they have hundreds of pumpkins to choose from! You can fill up a wheelbarrow full of pumpkins or choose just a few.  Don't forget to check out the corn maze and take your picture with their giant straw man!  They also have a market with lots of fall decorations for your house.

Hours: Monday – Saturday 9am – 6:30pm

Admission:  Free to enter the pumpkin patch (they charge a small fee to enter the corn maze with proceeds going to the Stouffville Food Bank – $2/person or $5/family).

Pingle's Farm Market

Come out and enjoy all the Fun Farm activities including face painting, jumping castle, farm animals, straw maze, trike track and more.  Admission includes a free wagon ride to the pumpkin patch.
