We were so thrilled to welcome over 250 people to our Community Celebration! We loved meeting so many Vaughan families! A big thank you to those who attended as well as to our sponsors for making our first big event such a success!
The momstown Vaughan Community Celebration was held on Friday, April 25th at the Richmond Hill Country Club. We had lots of activities planned for our young guests including a bouncy castle, face painting, crafts and more. It was a great chance for families to meet some local sponsors as well. We had 100 loot bags to give away along with some great door prizes! A huge thanks to our National and local sponsors for helping to make our first big event such a success!
We got things started with our special guest – Lunar Jim from Kids CBC!
Next, our presenting sponsor, Real Fitness for Women talked about their facility and why they are so supportive of momstown Vaughan and then had the kids join in some parachute fun!
There were so many great activities for the kids to do – the bouncy castle sponsored by Vaughan Mills and the face painting were definite favourites! (Thanks to Par-T-Perfect for providing the bouncy castle, the face painting and the balloon animals!)
Our gold sponsor, Dental Works 4 Kids had some great samples available and were available to answer any questions about kids dental health. We were so happy to have partnered with them – a big thanks to them for sponsoring our face painting station!
It was so much fun watching the kids try out the Monkeynastix York obstacle course and test out their soccer skills with Little Kickers. They really got creative building their own chef hats with Petits Chefs Academy and making some Duplo creations with Bricks 4 Kidz. And, we didn't forget about all the moms that came to celebrate – thanks to Cloud 9 Pampering for providing some relaxing hand massages!
We were really thrilled to welcome Vaughan Public Libraries to our event. Their story time was a hit – two great books and a few songs kept the kids entertained.
It doesn't get much cuter than our Diaper Derby race! The winning baby won a Kitchen Pantry consultation from Dhillon Nutrition for his mom!
It was great to see the kids exploring the camping equipment in the Walmart camping area and using their imaginations in the Fisher Price Discovery Area too!
It just wouldn't be a party without cupcakes! Thanks to Oh So Sweet for bringing us such yummy treats! And, a big thanks to Vanessa Galle Photography for capturing so many moments throughout our event.
There were lots of parents excited about our prize draws, especially the Fisher Price toys and the 9-piece Walmart camping set. Thanks to all of our door prize sponsors for providing some fantastic prizes – lots of moms went home happy!
