Review of Disney Live! Mickey’s Music Festival Show

January 10, 2015momstownFamily LifeNo comments
The whole family enjoyed the upbeat energy of this show and the kids loved seeing some of their favourite Disney characters singing and dancing. A great night out for everyone!

We were invited to see Disney Live! Mickey's Music Festival show now playing in Toronto at The Sony Centre. The last show in Toronto is Sunday, January 11 at 2pm (click here to buy tickets).

We have been to several Disney shows with the kids and have always been impressed with the quality and entertainment value of the shows.  This show was no exception.  The characters kept the kids engaged for the whole show with lots of upbeat, high energy perfermances.  Along with Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy, there were characters from Aladdin, The Little Mermaid and Toy Story.  Each story had a brightly coloured set, great costumes and lots of singing and dancing.  My kids loved the audience participation parts of the show, shouting out answers to Mickey's questions and jumping out of their seats to learn a new dance with Woody and Jessie from Toy Story.

Things to know about the show:

  • The show is approximately 90 minutes long, including a short intermission
  • There is no parking at the Sony Centre but there are lots of parking lots nearby.  If you are taking the subway or the Go Train, Union Station is a quick walk from the venue.
  • If you are looking to eat before or after the show, we had dinner at Fran's Diner which is located just across the street from the Sony Centre.  There are also some snacks for sale before the show and at intermission.
  • Tickets start at $28.25 and as mentioned above, shows are running on Saturday, January 10th and Sunday, January 11th.

*Tickets for the show were provided at no cost, opinions about the show are my own.
