There are lots of great Halloween events to enjoy with your family in and around Vaughan!

Camp Spooky – Canada’s Wonderland

Open every Saturday and Sunday until November 1 – 10:00am to 5:00pm

Included with the park admission, come and enjoy all the Halloween themed activities including trick-or-treating, a costume parade, mazes and a special Charlie brown Trick or Treat show!  You’ll also enjoy access to your favorite rides during the day, including attractions in Planet Snoopy and KidZville.

Kreepy Kortright

Saturday, October 25th and Sunday October 26th from 6pm – 9pm

Put on your costume and celebrate Halloween with a haunted maze, a frightening forest walk, scary stories around the campfire, Halloween activies and live owls!   Fun for kids 12 years and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Location:  Kortright Centre for Conservation – 9550 Pine Valley Drive, Woodbridge

Admission: $12 for adults and $6 for kids (for non-members) or $10 for adults, $5 for kids (for members).  Please note – advance tickets are required.      


Howling Hootenany at Black Creek Pioneer Village

October 18th/19th and 25th/26th – 11am – 4:30pm

Lots to do for families throughout the Village including a Creepy Creature Show, a Haunted Maze, Apple Sling Shot, free pumpkin decorating (while supplies last) and Trick-or-Treating in the Village! (check website for show/event times)

Location: 1000 Murray Ross Parkway, Toronto

Admission: $15 for adults, $11 for kids


Scaryfest at Markham Museum

October 25th & 26th – 4pm – 7pm

Trick-or-treat your way around the Museum grounds where you will encounter ghosts and goblins of all sorts!

Location: 9350 Markham Road, Markham

Admission:  $6 for adults, $4 for kids (children under 2 are free)


York-Durham Heritage Railway – Family Halloween Train Rides

All aboard the Halloween Train! On board the decorated trains are ghosts, ghouls, and other entertainment and there will be lots of Halloween activities. All children will receive a loot bag upon departing the train.

Location:  Trains operate from the Uxbridge and Stouffville stations (see website for details)

Admission: All children (aged up to 12 years) dressed in their best and scariest Halloween costumes will travel free (Max 2 children per adult). Fares for adults, seniors and teenagers are the same as on our regular trains – see website for details and to buy tickets.


Halloween Spooktacular at Vaughan Public Libraries

Stop by your local library for some hauntingly spooktacular stories and activities as they get in the mood for Halloween!

Dufferin Clark – October 30th, 11:30am – 12pm

Halloween Haunted House & Forest

October 24th, 6:30 – 8:30pm

Have a spooky good time exploring the Vellore Haunted Village! Enjoy family-oriented Halloween activities, crafts and movies at the Vellore Cultural Centre. Costumes optional. (weather permitting)

Location: Vellore Cultural Interpretive Centre, 9541 Weston Road, Vaughan
