Easy Fall Craft for Toddlers and Preschoolers

November 2, 2014momstownCraftNo comments
This is a easy craft for toddlers and preschoolers to do together!

1. For toddlers, use the glue stick to add glue to the tree branches.  Let them add the tissue paper squares to the tree branches by patting them down on the glue.

2. For preschoolers, have them add some glue to the tree branches with the glue stick.  Have them scrunch up the tissue paper squares into small balls to add to the tree.  This is a great activity to work on fine motor skils.

For all kids, you can talk about the change in seasons, what happens to leaves on the trees in the fall.  You can also try to create patterns with the different colours with preschoolers, or work on identifying colours with toddlers.
